SWARMING CONTROL MODE
Swarming control – is a specialized procedure performed in the period of highest probability of bee colonies’ transition in a state of natural breeding or swarming. The objective of this study – is to prevent the transition of bees to the passive pre-swarming state with severe loss of their productivity, and prevent the loss of the part of young productive bees coming in a swarm form.
DIAGNOSTIC METHOD SWARMING CONTROL The maximum indication of close swarming is when both indicators point to the red zone. Indicator called "Mood tendency" shows the peak position of the signal in the frequency range. Green Zone – the working status of the bees. Red Zone - passive, pre-swarming impulse of the bees. The "Tendency power" indicator shows the ratio of signal power in the operating state and in the passive pre-swarming impulse. Green Zone - the swarming state is unlikely. The Red zone indicates that swarming is possible. \n\n The greater deviation from zero in the red zones means the higher probability. Joint indication of devices on the red zone means the highest probability of bee colony getting into swarming impulse. |
Control of swarming state should be carried out during the day time in the midst of family work.
It is impossible to carry out control in the season, not associated with swarming. At this time, there may be similar signals not related with swarming.
